I graduated from Hereford College of Arts with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Applied Arts 2:1 in 2011.
Following graduation I was chosen for a post graduate placement with Alloy Jewellers, a Hereford based jewellery and silversmith co operative. I started my own business in 2013.
I specialise in the making and designing of contemporary jewellery, mainly in silver highlighted with gold, gemstones and pearls. I am inspired by ecclesiastical architecture, new and old, with a particular emphasis on Victorian Gothic style. I like to capture the linear qualities within the architecture and reproduce them in delicate intricate pieces. Some pieces have small moving parts to further create the illusion of movement and a sense of fun.
I am expanding my range to include hand raised bowls and vessels, some with blown glass liners, featuring hand-pierced designs.
